Unicorn Tapestry is an homage to the jewel box of olfactory delight I imagine one would experience if transported to the world inside the tapestries.

The fragrance profile is fresh and green with black pepper, blackberries, rose petals, green leaves, bergamot, tonka, oak moss and amber. It has a slight powdery base thanks to the amber, but at its heart is sparkling and bright. It smells like a fairytale.

Mystifying scholars and viewers for centuries, the wool, silk, and metallic Unicorn Tapestries are an enchanting visual delight of over 100 botanical varieties (85 of which have been identified), Medieval folklore, and, potentially, an allegory of Christ. The tapestries are on display in the Cloisters, but once likely hung in the bedroom of a French castle.
I have been mesmerized by the tapestries for as long as I can remember. Not only do I appreciate their spectacular beauty, but I enjoy reworking my analysis of their intended meaning and order. The colors, the flora, fauna, detail, shine, depth, and richness are so inspiring and have always been in my mind when the concept of a “secret garden” was in my thoughts.
